Reflecting widespread consumer dissatisfaction over the new $5 monthly debit-card fee, Bank of America customer and recent college grad Molly Katchpole will hand-deliver to a branch in downtown Washington, D.C. over 135,000 petition signatures today demanding that the bank cancel the fee. If the bank refuses to cancel the fee, the 22-year-old part-time worker plans to close her account on the spot.
