The New York Times reports, “Amazon says it will issue an update for its Kindle Fire tablet within two weeks, responding to consumer complaints about software and hardware features on the device, which was released to huge demand last month. The company also might introduce a new version of the tablet in the spring. Amazon promised upgrades in the device’s performance and multitouch navigation.”
